If your referring the holes to rust holes, the car would need a lot of help. From my experience, Caddys of those years tend to be nosing cars. Hit with the front and pray it stays running. JMO.

ur talking about the triangle looking holes in the top of the frame right in front of the a-arms...and the oval holes on the inside of the frame up front...i ran a 76 a couple years ago stock..it deffinately bent at them holes in front of the a-arms..i have a 76 this year...im gonna try and use them holes as a hood bolt,an run althread thru it and bolt it,and see how it turns out

I assume your talking about the 2 oval holes on the inside of the frame and triangle hole where the frame Y's in front of the a arms? The holes do create weak points in the frame but the frame is still stronger than it looks. Think about how wide that frame still is. I would fill them if you can but wouldnt sweat it if you can't. This 74 never bent at those spots that you are talking about. Wasn't built too heavy0 though. Stock body mounts finally gave out after run #3

Thanks! Yeah I had fun with it. Caddys are the only GM car that I would mount a pointy on. They can handle it.

Is it better to hard nose them or weld up bumper shocks.

How is everybody putting there bumpers on I cant add metal on my 74 impala bumper it has the little dips in the bottom so it dont seem like i could get a good weld all way around it and hardnose it.I thought about taking the shocks shoving them in the frame and running my all thread threw it and welding the shocks inside the frame and then welding them to the bumper and weld the bumper to the frame as much as possible any input would be great thanks
