70’s and 80’s. 70’s are stronger, 80’s give a little more height I have heard that guys run ford spindles on Caddy’s what year ford spindles are people running?

That's what alot of guys was doing. Before that was g body a arms with 80s spindles. Now they are switching to a another that gives more height I hear.

As far as reaming for balljoints goes nothing needs to be unless you run aftermarket balljoints

Height is good, but the bigger reason for me 70s ford have better parts availability then the caddy style suspension.

Makes since I got alot of parts available to me from many different makes and models trying to figure out the best set up to get my height I'm allowed 28 inchs max to top of my bumper. So depending the bumper run the bumper should be at 22inchs.

I’ve never used ford lowers, never had an issue with stock lowers but it’s up to you

Depends on rules but I personally wouldn’t. Monte or 74 impala on the front would be a the softest I’d go

If a 76 Impala bumper is all you have it will work, but I would put a heavier bumper on like a 74 Impala bumper.

ok thanks just hard to find a 4 anymore. but the rules are bash. frank the tank. cant weld brackets to frame. but you weld bumper to shocks.

For those rules then a 76 would be fine, it’s going to roll right at the s curve with any bumper
