It is a 72 coupe. I just know how you can't get gears for a caddy rear so i wanna swap it!

Just pulled the gears out of my 69 deville and this is what I found... Anyone seen this before? Is it weldable? Attachments:

would be easier to just swap a 70 rear cover rear in imo.

im doing a leaf spring conversion and running a sbc 350 so it would probably be easier to switch to a rear end with spring perches and that matches the drivline for the th350 tranny right?

any good rearend with gears would work, can swap perches on and make your driveline with the two ends needed.

I'm restubbing my 70 deville with a 73 front stub since my 70's bent pretty bad, I noticed the frame on the 70 was 2" wider. I used a cumalong to pull the frame rails in to keet the 73 frame. It looks like there's plenty of body clearance. ....jw if anyone else has done this and if it worked out or will I have to do some beating underneath the car to get it to fit. Thanks
