i have a 67 caddy, i know their not good but what makes them not good besides the c channel in front of the a arm? i could box it in and im allowed to leaf it, would it be worth running than or is it still scrap metal?

If your going out to have fun then its worth building but if your going out to win there are much better cars to build. If I were to build it I would build it like an early ford in the front, with a dp and engine mounts front, mid, and rear. Build a good crossmember tying the tranny cradle to the frame. Tie your cage into the frame as far forward as possible, and build a nice set of leaf springs. Have fun.

slice the outer frame section and turn it back in till it closes up on the inner rail. as its closing towards the end put a shock inside of it like you do a y frame chrysler. no extra work in necessary because they dont bend there in front
