It's really not too hard. I cut the front crossmember/strap off. Cut a notch in the outer half of the frame where it Ys out. Hammered it together and welded. Then I squared off the frame. Then I took a chalk line and ran it from frame rail to frame across the 3 radius rod cross member supports and cut them flush with the frame. Then I cut a couple small notches on the front crossmember/strap and straightened it out then welded it back on the front. I'm sure there are different ways and setups, but it's working so far for me in a limited weld no protector class.

I think the extra layer of front crossmember folded around is making it look odd or something. Looks good to me. I like it.

I think he means parallel from aarm forwards not wider at the front?
Edit, beat me to it that's a ton of work most cars do that tho I think mopars and 03s only ones that dont off top of my head
