On a stock 2 barrel rochester, the ones I have rebuilt anyway, come with 51-53 jets. Also know they are not the same as Holley jets.

How about some qjet tips ? Other than throwing a kit in it. You guys run with the electric choke ? I notice from my vidios that early on I am a sitting duck..car dont wanna run cold. This could be related to my timeing. But it might also be due to No choke plate at all. Gonna get this right this year

Gonna get this right this year I used to have same problem! :-/We don't run a choke plate on our carbs either. we tried warming our cars up a little before the heat then check timing even on stock engines and fuel injected cars. So far has worked out good for us.

Mostly what I wonder is if there is a way to help with fuel slosh ... But then I only had 1 time where I had a stuck needle...and still got it running after shutting off my pump. Looking back it ran like a dog after. And I may have had better luck that day if I had turned the pump on and off..... Just never thought of it....
