I have never bent a caddy at the idler arm bolts. And only bent 2 caprices at the holes. TOM

Idler arm bolt holes are a huge weakness. I have had them totally sh!t out there and had them never bend them there. Last several I have had bent there bad.

79 2 door. Absolutely spotless. Built it back in 2000 to run in a old iron show. Epic Fail. I notched it way to much. Back end was sky high in 3 hits. I was backin in and out of a corner when I got caught by a 74 post pulling a full tracker on me. It bent infront of both humps and blew the right side b post out completely.

heres a pic of a 87 fleetwood we built.. took it to 3 different shows... bad luck twice... and then a 3rd place at the last show... had a 77 thunderbird bumper on it.

yep had one bubble caprice bend at the wall and then a roadmaster go to shit at the holes in a few good hits both with a stock 74monte not even hard nosed

whos headers were they and how did they fit with the steering rod. any pics and info would help. thanks They were dec forward offset i had to slide my steering shaft over like 1 inch. They fit good otherwise and sounded great

I ran 2 of these the back and end went great you just need to know how to put em together like any other car. I wouldnt say the back ends are junk at all they both packed in like the fords do with full visabilaty out the rear window took 2nd in feature with both of em motor got a bit to hot.
