Fresh 83 buick for no weld no hump plate class After Two runs and two feature wins ran it one more time after this pic in our end of the year yard derby at our Wrecking yard. 89 impala one run and done car was so rotten it shouldn't of been built.

Most people have bad things to say about them 80s impala/caprice bumpers but I love them on stock gms. Of course they wont hold up to anything major but they bend and flex before the frame will. Ive ran two of them with good results.

If I get a 80's gm with steel front bumper I sell it and put aluminum ones on. I've never had a problem with the aluminum bumpers as long as there solid they work great for taken some stress off the front rails.

This one was built to Thunder Valley rules. Yours should be ok with 60 inches of plate lol.... It had 22 inch hump plates, 3/16 thick.... Seams welded firewall forward.
