Any difference between a 71 olds vista cruiser and the 74 wagons a lot of people run? Or they about the same?

Building a '74 caprice wagon. I need a few suggestions on leaf springs.....how thick and should they be fairly flat or arched? also would it do any good to move my rear shackles forward?

i noticed the past few years alot of ppl notching the body inside the car in front of the boxes. I lookd at the bash for cash cars and it doesnt seem like ppl are doing it anymore. Not sure what they are doing now but all the wagons except for a couple rolld nice in the rear. I have it short shockd, just dont wanna be draggn dirt.

draggin dirt? What type of wagon do you have? If you have a good set of leafs you aren't going to be draggin dirt. Worst thing that could happen is the body get ripped off the frame, and the frame stay straight. I literally have the back end of my wagons inches off the ground to start with. Now if you have a coil spring wagon, like a malibu, yes notch.
