I would turn the plates like a diamond (corners facing north south east west) and put the 4 at the firewall. For max length

I'd start just in front of arch an lay 3 all the way to fire wall. An then one in front of a arms only of we did this in our cars then it gave through the body mount holes. Plug\slot weld your plates!

Little question I had that I figured may get people’s brains going... what in your opinion would be the best way to set up the back of a wagon? Build style would be a national style mod build (hump plates, flat leafs with pretty open ended rules, weld the tailgate, strap in rear window, 1in body mounts and spacers, gas tank protector to the center line of rearend) looking to get a nice little conversation going, general answers to detailed answers welcomed. Let’s get creative

Let’s get creative Depends greatly what your after, I think knowing the rules your referencing, hard as you can in the back, with the expectation to sedagon after the first heat. Obviously you have to maintain rear height, but flat stack, suck the quarters on, bolt where you can. Lay everything as flat as you can after heat and take out steering.

I've got a question for everybody. I can get a 74 chevy wagon that was ran in the early 90s. Im basically getting it for scrap price. Its completely straight other than needing a core support. The issue is the the floor is pretty much not existent in the front and there is nothing left of the rear pan. The frame all looks good though. If I fix the floor up front how important is it really to have the rear floor in it. There's metal over the rear rails and thats about it. Im not sure if I'd be allowed to fix it. I just want to go tear stuff up. I'm not concerned with winning.
