Building my first wagon and really my first serious build to get competitive. Lots of good info here but have a few questions. I'm running a stock show and I am allowed 4 clamps per leaf. I'm wondering if I should put 2 in front of the rear end and 2 in back of the rear end or..? Also I'm going to change body bolts out but couldn't find any good info on what to replace them with. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Looking for opinions. How low is too low for the back end of a roundback? Limited weld rules, 9 leafs with 2 clamps front/behind axle, floating GTP, body bolts changed out and 9 wire from roof to frame at back door.

3/8" flat stack if it's allowed..... If you have to go with a factory replacement, you'll probably be looking for something similar to what we have in Wichita, Ks. called Atlas spring and axle....

On the flat stack what are you using as the main leaf for the eye let's on either side? Bushing/no bushing?

They are 100% unibody. 61-69 are the years they were produced. GM leaf spring wagons were built from 71-76. Full size wagons only.

Any idea where a man can get a set of stock leaf spring packs for a 73 Impala Wagon? Nothing solid online. Spring shop may have to make them?

So this year is the first year I get to run repair plates I get 4 4x4 plates and I’m not real sure where to put them. I got a 73 Pontiac wagon That’s been restubbed a arms forward with 74 impala horns and a 10 inch bumper plate I’m kinda confused on where I should put the repair plates
