With the D.I. Legal bracket set.. You get weld on lower mounts... And the upper mounts with no actual arms included.. They are designed to accept factory O.E.M style control/trailing arms. Hope that helps?

But the whole set is designed for 98+ ford products... For a caddy all you really need is the upper D.I. Mounts... Your trailing arms mount the same between caddys and all other 70s gm sedans.

You dont "need" brackets for the front end of the old iron caddies.

if your talkin about my posts... mine are referring to ZTR conversion brackets.. so you can bolt your 10 bolt in a 98+ ford or caddy with ease... You dont "need" brackets for the front end of the old iron caddies.

Without a doubt check the rear rails right where the humps meet the rear rails. Like to rot out there.

You dont "need" brackets for the front end of the old iron caddies. I would say though without a doubt you may need bumper brackets for Lacs depending on the rules for bumper and shock mounting,

It would be dumb to run without brackets up front if u are allowed to..also the fleetwoods are 3" longer in the frame by the doors. Was bummed out when I picked up a 74 fleetwood and couldn't get a 2 door body on without cuttin frame down

Everyone has thier own way of doing things. If i have brackets they get used in some form or fashion, if not i dont. It works quite well for me either way. The quotation marks around need are meant to show a little sarcasm.

Just fishing for thoughts here but i have a couple front bumper choices for my caddy. Between a 74 impala and a 74 newport bumper what one would you use and why?
