werner Its a steel cone and the hole the balljoint slips into is offset so you turn the cone to a different spot and it changes the caster/camber. I'll get a pic of one later today.

How hard is it to put a ford 9 inch in a 74 caddy ? Any tips Have you ever put a 9" in a different car that uses 4 link coil suspension before. If yes, then its the same steps except your upper ears will be wider than that. I've never built a 9", but I've put a 10 bolt in a caddy with all stock trailing arms and I just unbolted the driver side upper trailing arm mount off of 2 different Caddy rears and used them for my upper mounts on the 10 bolt.

They are aftermarket chevy truck lift spindles. Still not stock. Where do you get the spindles from? How much modification does it take to work with let’s say old iron gm and metric fords?

Building another 74 Fleetwood this year. Looking like show maybe cancelled. Build with stock spindles at the moment. But thinking about swapping to 70s Ford's spindles. Just curious if to gain height if i need the upper a arms also and is it pretty much a direct swap?? Minimal fabrication due to rule being fairly stock

They are a direct swap, don’t really gain much height without doing a few other things that I doubt your rules would allow. Probably be better off to just heat and bend the stock uppers

Trying to pull motor and trans out of one of these, can someone tell me how I’m supposed to hold the top 4 crossmember bolts while taking the nut off? And where in the hell is the motor mount bolts? I can’t even see them! Fist time pulling one of these
