Has anyone used the nlr gm to gm.motor mounts with the extended plate? Just curious how they worked and if any added plate was needed.

I did, they worked just fine. I would weld a plate off the backside of the engine crossmember back as far as you can tied into the rail More for strength then anything, but yes they work and are beneficial when setting the motor back like you do in caddies

The rear end in this car is pointing at the ground pretty much . How much do you guys extend the uppers to get a better angle for drive shaft ?

Use ford lower trailing arms, i wouldn’t touch the uppers

It pulls the tires closer to the body and further from the fenders for clearance

The uppers also aren’t fantastic so the less cutting the better

What stock crossmember for gm are straight? Looking for one to use on my 74 to help with the "dog bones" wasn't sure if the Impala style with s curve would catch both of them

What stock crossmember for gm are straight? Looking for one to use on my 74 to help with the "dog bones" wasn't sure if the Impala style with s curve would catch both of them 71-76 wagons or if your in a pinch use a Vic one and just brace it up a little for strength

96 suburban 2wd crossmember is pretty dam flat and beefy..used one in my galaxy
