Hmm I’ll have to either get creative or look for something else as I can’t tie into the cage or gtp.

Not to the cage, gtp, halo, or rear window bar. Maybe the roof or pillars I could get away with. I’d do both. Cut if they make you. Otherwise your tie ins could be as close to halo as possible and tie halo to roof etc. Not being able to tie in you might run into issues making the rear super stiff just to belly fast.... my last compact I had to cut a lot for a show and rear was built hard. Whole thing imploded to the gtp and both rear wheels off the ground. I was full tracked and in a 96 accord though lol

The window bar is allowed a 5x5x1/4 plate to weld to. Thinking I’d put another plate underneath with all thread and sammich the lid and trunk pan together.

I didn’t cut any trunk floor out.

I am building a box vic. I have never been allowed to do this until this year so I have never done it before. I can only weld trunk shut in 8 spots and no hump plates. Should I build trunk like this? Suggestions?

Suggestions? Not without hump plates... dish the trunk yes crease quarters yes. Definitely not to this level though or your humps will be gone and she be bellied
