3rd grade Ms.kings class and they put us on lock down in our Lil country town. If I remember right I want to say parents came and got me once lock down was cleared. I just remember it was a very weird feeling day especially since we was under attack.

I was in my dorm room junior year of college getting ready for my first class of the morning when my roommate broke through the door and turned on the news. They had dismissed his class and he was trying to explain what was going on while getting the T.V. tuned. Just as we got to the live coverage, we watched the second plane plow into the south tower. At that time, I know I didn’t, but I don’t think anyone had any idea the gravity of the situation or how it would forever change a lot of things we had taken for granted in this country. I would never want anything like that to happen on American soil again, but dang. The united American spirit sure was nice for a while.

Another old guy here. Working in a factory, my foreman told me about the first plane hitting and I decided to run home for lunch and turn on the TV to see what was happening. Right then I knew our world wouldn't be the same.

I was in a ditch laying block for an elementary school gymnasium. Didn’t get much done that day other than listen to the news and be angry.

I was in 7th grade sitting in art class. Some older high school kids came in and told our teacher some idiot flew a plane into one of the twin towers. He pulled it up on the computer and all three were kind of laughing going "how could you be that dumb to fly a plane into a building?" And then they saw the second plane hit and their faces went blank because they started to realize something else was happening. As the day went on they had the entire school go into the auditorium and the principal addressed the whole school and informed them of what was happening. They rolled a big screen tv on stage and we all just sat there as they answered questions and we all sat in disbelief.
