That stuff is allowed. I would have like to done the sway bar different but I have to use stock in stock configuration. Ball joint protectors are for the solid suspension 🙄🤣

Sorry for the delay in updates. I've been working on the car as much as possible in between everything else. I did happen to snag a sweet 72 impala roller in the past couple weeks, and my metric caddy finally got junked this past weekend. How about some pics! D50s all doubled and tubed 💪💪

Cage and roll bar are finally just about finished... The passenger side rear door was from a later model suicide which was 3 inches too long... no biggie

A couple pics of the junked 96 caddy that's 6.0 powered. Will be pulling parts off/out of it soon for the suicide.

Just something you may want to do also on rear run chain from rearend forward incase something breaks the rearend won't walk to rear bumper. This way uou can keep going with slider

Thanks for the idea on the chain! I'll definitely try to figure something out. As far as the pointy bumper, yes it's for this car 😎

move your chains over your humps, that pipe is actually very weak, usually snaps right beside frame rail even without the chains there

I personally dont like the rod ends welded to the center link piece, I know itll probably work just fine but I have seen a lot of that stuff crack in less important parts

Not sure if I'll get a chance or the time to move them before the derby, I'm awfully pressed for time. The track is usually very muddy and not super hard hitting, it's a pretty stock show. I feel like the car should do good as-is, but always up for trying to make it better if time allows...
