Anyone ever build one? We have one. got it for scrap price with no title. The thing is a monster and cant wait to run it. I have searched Youtube, and this website and cant find anyone who has used one. Anyone seen one or built one?

Build it just like a super duty and keep the rear rails solid. Down bars from the cage are your best friend.

It is a beast from the factory. It could be a monster if built right.

If I had a choice between a superduty or an excursion, in all honesty, I would go with the superduty. The excursions have different frames. They are different in the rear. But, they are still stout trucks. Where are you running and what rules are you building to?

^^^Pretty sure excursion frames dip down in the rear kind of funny.. Seen a burb body on one.. pretty stout unit.. frame did bend funny at the rear though..

But, they are still stout trucks. Where are you running and what rules are you building to? I know Barnhouse has said that the superdutys are stronger than an excursion. He was saying at one derby that everyone cried about that excursion he built, but he said in reality the frame was all bent to hell, it just didn't look that bad without looking under it. I can honestly say, that frame from his excursion was f*cked! I know that because it's sitting in a friend's barn and I helped tear the truck apart. And in all honesty, the man didn't cheat. He's just one hell of a driver.

It wasnt your friends truck.. This was years back.. Just seems that burbans fit pretty well on the frame.. The rear frame is the issue though.. Cant really see a way around it.. Just par for the course..
