I've never seen one of these run but this is my 2004 4 door short bed s10. My dad bought this brand new and it's finally not road worthy anymore. Before he passed away almost two years ago he told me to put a show on with it when I was done driving it. I'll get some more pictures once the drivetrain is pulled.

Can't say I've ever seen a 4Dr s10 ran before.

I've only seen a couple others like it since my dad got this one. I will say the 4 or 4 and a half foot bed is damn near useless for putting anything in but the front leaf spring hangers are under the back of the cab so I'm hoping it won't do as bad as every other s10 I've seen

Well it's definitely crustier than I thought but just gonna make due. On the agenda is dropping the 292 straight 6 in her, 9 inch rear end swap, wedge the bed with a rear window bar and lots and lots of 9 wire to hold the bed together

You call that crusty? Looks pretty decent with the pics. I'm from northern Ohio. I live 50 yards off lake erie.

I live about a half hour south of Lake Erie in Pennsylvania I know what the rust belt does to vehicles. It's manly the bed and rear frame that are rusty. I've gotta try a new image uploader so I can get my pics up tinypic still won't let me upload them or even let me log in

Sorry for the way late response between being really busy at the garage and work and not being able to get any of my pictures to load on here it's been hectic. Anyway I did end up making Crawford. Had a change of plans didn't have time to swap rears so just made a driveshaft and welded stock rear. Learned a big lesson from this truck though since we had to cut so much sheet metal to get the 292 to fit. Don't try to run just a hand throttle and no power steering or you'll have a bad time lol. I ended up 4th outa 14 and it really surprised me how little the frame bent wish I could put pics up to show. Lost what little steering I had almost immediately, bent control arms, broke a main leaf but what ultimately took me out was breaking the carb adapter off of the motor. If I could find another one I'd run it but with a little better though put into it. While the 292 was a pain to mount the torque it had was unreal
