B-Time Promotions LLC. would like to announce the "Mazomanie Wild West Days Demolition Derby" on September 10, 2017. 3 ' Pm start time. This event will feature 3 classes of cars : 80's & newer modified stock, full size trucks and midsize cars.

Registration will be done day of show only, with $40.00 to enter a car with 1 pit pass, and $20.00 for each additional pit passes. Inspection will open at 10:00 A.M. Cars must be in and inspected by 2:00pm at the latest, or a late fee of 20.00 will be imposed. Inspection will be closing this year at 2:30 sharp !!
Rules listed below ......... trucks and mid size will be the same as Action Auto (tm), for the ease of reusing cars/trucks for these classes. 80's & newer modified stock will be very light build to the car, with power-train improvements.
We will be getting trophies this year for top three spots and for driver of the day !
Payout: Guaranteed Total Of $5000 + any raised sponsorship money. This amount will be paid regardless of car count.
Set payout :
$800 to win each class $400 for second each class $200 for third each class $100 for fourth each class $50 for fifth each class
****** There will be $350 bonus money going to the class with the most cars running as follows: Simple, class with most support, gets more MONEY !!
**Bonus money class payout :
$900 to win $500 for second $300 for third $150 for fourth $50 for fifth
Sponsorship money will go for Hard Hitters, prize money as directed by sponsorers , and will be a trophy for driver of the day/hard hitter.
Compacts and multiple Mini's ( same build rules as midsize)..... We will run these classes if a few show up ...... 100% entry fee payback. Make it known the classes are needed, and they may be added next year.
All classes will be 1 run and done, unless more than 15 show up for that class, then they may be drawn for heats as necessary.

B-Time Promotions LLC 2017 Rules for All Classes
1. Preparation: All glass, headlights, taillights, chrome, fiberglass header panels, carpeting, flammable material, interior decorating, AC Freon, antennas, hubcaps, wheel weights, and garbage must be removed before coming to the track for competition. Trailer hitches must be completely removed. 2. Safety: Halo bars are recommended for all classes. Functioning seatbelts, helmets, eye protection, long pants, sturdy shoes or boots are mandatory. Racing Suit recommended. All air bags and charges must be completely removed before arriving to track for competition. 3. Gas Tanks: Factory gas tank MUST be removed. In place you must use a 6-gallon maximum steel tank to be mounted on floor directly behind driver. Must have clamped fittings into tank. Plastic tanks only if enclosed in steel and must pass inspection. Only approved fuel line may be used. Electric fuel pump allowed but switch must be clearly marked on/off. Pump gas only. Tanks must be bolted, chained, or 2 ratchet straps to floor and be very secure to pass inspection. NO FACTORY GAS TANKS ALLOWED. Fuel tank protectors will be allowed, sheet metal to sheet metal only. Nothing to frame. Fuel tank protectors are for that purpose only- Must be a minimum of 6" away from rear seat and not be excessive in width or you will not run. 4. Batteries: Only 1 or 2 automotive type batteries or 1 larger style battery of choice is permitted. Batteries must be mounted to floor on front passenger side of vehicle. Must be covered and secured firmly to pass inspection. 5. Windshields: Must be removed before arrival for competition. In place: 2 chains, or straps mounted from firewall to roof vertically for driver safety. Must use bolts or welding to secure. 6. Car and driver qualify as a team for the feature. Substitutions must be cleared with officials first.

Individual class rules 2016
Rules for 80’s and Newer Modified Stock Class:
1. Hood and Trunk: You may wire or chain your hood in 6 spots – must remain in stock position (4 spots sheet metal to sheet metal only), trunk in 4 spots (2 spots sheet metal to sheet metal only) - 3/8” chain maximum or 2 strands of 9-gauge wire per hole. You may run threaded rod (3/4” maximum diameter) – 2 in the front, 2 in the rear. Front threaded rod must go through frame/hood at core support – vertically only. (bolted not welded in). In the rear, rod must go through mount/trunk lid – vertically only. Trunk may be tucked up to 50% of lid; forward 50% must remain in stock position. Trunks cannot create a ramp effect. 2. Frames: No welding of frame except bumper mounts, engine mounts, and crossmember mount tab. No pinning or chaining of frame rails. No tipping or cold bending of frame. No frame shaping, may pound rear humps in 8" each way from top center of humps. 3. Tailgates: MUST be chained or wired. Chains or wire may not exceed 36" (2 items per vertical seam). You may go through tailgate with bumper chains, 2 spots only. No threaded rod in rear of wagons. 4. Radiators: Factory stock style in original position containing water only. No auxiliary engine coolers allowed. Expanded metal radiator protectors are allowed, but do not reinforce the radiator with steel enclosure. Guards not to exceed width of radiator. Must be bolted or wired in, NO welding. 5. Fenders and body: Fenders may be trimmed. NO creasing of body panels. Must remain stock.
****** RULE CHANGE ****** Body mounts must remain stock height and appearance!! "Rubber mounts" with steel inserts must be in place. Keep bolts to stock size 7/16” or smaller. You may replace body bolts but must retain stock height, size and spacing. No adding larger than factory washers. ******
6. Doors: doors may be wired (2 strands) or chained shut (36" max length of 3/8 chain), 2 spots per door, must be on vertical seams only. Drivers door may be welded solid. Protection bars on outside of drivers door can be no more than 3" past door seams. Doors may also be bolted shut, one spot per door. No welding other than drivers door! 7. Safety Bars: Maximum of a 4 point cage allowed- Consisting of 1 dash bar mounted horizontally above factory steering column location, a minimum of 6" from center of firewall and 6” off transmission tunnel. 1 seat bar must be mounted from door post to door post directly behind drivers seat 3" up or down from center line of seat. Door bars may be connected to front and rear bar only, 1 per side only. No bar may extend more then 8" past middle door post. No kickers off any bar to floor, frame, etc. Bar may be bolted or welded in. Welds must pass inspection. Plates used to bolt in bar must not exceed 4” x 4” x 3/8". Bar diameters minimum of 2", maximum of 6" with a minimum of ¼ " thickness. Halo bars are legal but can only be mounted to rear seat bar. Halo bars may be bolted to roof only near center of the roof with a maximum of 2 bolts, and must be straight up, no angle mounting. No other interior seams may be welded. No rear window bar allowed. All bars must be minimum of 6” off floor. 8. Rear ends: You may run a 5-lug car type rear end; no truck rear-ends. Ford 9” allowed – perches may be welded on – stock height only. Braces and aftermarket axles allowed. Must bolt in stock position for year/make/model of car – no modifying suspension. 9. Suspension: Must remain stock for year/make/model of car. If changing rear axle, must bolt in stock position with stock control arms. 10. Engines and Drive Train: Any engine/transmission combination okay. Welding engine mounts okay, nothing excessive !! Chaining engine mounts on front of engine only – must remain vertical – no welding of chains. Front lower engine cradle and pulley protector allowed. If you have a pulley protector, sway bar must be removed. No distributor protectors. No transmission braces. Transmission coolers allowed – lines must be safely protected. No bigger than 2” tubing for cross member or a 3” channel. Must be in stock position. You may weld a "TAB" on frame for mounting transmission crossmember, NOTHING EXCESSIVE, this will be strictly enforced. Slider drive shafts okay. 11. Tires: No ply restriction; 30” maximum height. Double tires allowed. 12. Bumpers: NO Chrysler V Bumpers. You may weld any car bumper to the frame or 3” x 3” tube or 2” x 6” tube, ¼” thick. May be bolted on or welded on. All factory brackets may be bolted or welded on, nothing may extend or be welded past core support. No added gussets will be allowed. No other variations will be allowed! Top skin may be welded to backing (no added steel). Bumpers must be cut to fit derby car, nothing wider than stock.
Rules for: Mid-Size Class - 111” wheel base or less – no full frame vehicles in this class, no V-8 engines
Compact Car Class - 101” wheel base or less – 4 cylinders only
Multiple Minis - Mini Vans, Mini Trucks, and Mini Blazers. (i.e. S-10 and S-15), no V-8 Engines
1. Doors: Maximum 2 spots per vertical door seam and 1 spot per horizontal door seam using the following methods: wire, cable, chain, or 6" x 3" x 3/8" plate welded per door. Drivers door may be welded all the way around. No chain, wire or welding on inside of doors. Wire, chain and cable 36" maximum. 2. Hoods: Must have a minimum of 12" hole in hood in case of fire. To hold hood down: minimum of 2 (36" maximum) chains, wires, or threaded rod (maximum 1" diameter). Threaded rod may run through frame at core support bolts or be welded a-frame forward vertically to frame no more than 6" total. Maximum of 6 chains, wires, or threaded rods may be used. Only 2 threaded rods can go to frame. Should not extend out of hood more than 6". Hood plates used with rods should not exceed 6" x 6" x 3/8" in size. You may use up to 10, 3/8" maximum bolts to secure hood webbing when cutting out hood. If hood does not cover fan, fan must be removed. Core support spacers must not exceed 4" in height. 3. Trunks: Maximum 4 of the following items may be used to secure trunk lid: wire, cable, chain, threaded rod, or 6" x 3" x 3/8" welded plate. ONLY 2 items may connect to frame. Rods may go through mount or be welded vertically to frame with no more than 6" of weld. Top plates for rods cannot exceed 6" x 6" x 3/8" in size. Do not exceed 4" round or square for plates inside trunk to secure if bolting in rods. Threaded rods must remain vertical from frame through trunk lid and not go through the welded plates. No seam welding period! There must be a way for us to see inside trunk for inspection. Trunks cannot create a ramp effect. Trunks may not be moved forward and may only be tucked maximum of 50%. 4. Frames: No welding of frame unless stated in the rules. No pinning or chaining of frame rails. You may put 3 loops of #9 wire from roof to frame behind the seat. 5. Tailgates: MUST be chained, wired, or welded. Chains or wire may not exceed 36" (2 items per vertical seam). If welding tailgate - plates not to exceed 6" x 3" x 3/8". No threaded rods allowed in tailgate. You may go through tailgate with bumper chains 2 spots only. 6. Radiators: Factory stock style in original position containing water only. No auxiliary coolers allowed. Expanded metal radiator protectors are allowed, but do not reinforce the radiator with steel enclosure. Guards not to exceed width of radiator. 7. Fenders: Fenders may be trimmed. Each fender may be up to 5 bolts per fender no larger than 3/8" in size, with washers also no larger than 1" in diameter. Excess bolt material must be trimmed. 8. Interior Mounted Safety Bars: Maximum of a 4 point cage allowed- Consisting of 1 dash bar mounted horizontally above factory steering column located a minimum of 6" from center of firewall. 1 seat bar must be mounted from door post to door post directly behind drivers seat 3" up or down from center line of seat. Door bars may be connected to front and rear bar only, 1 per side only. No bar may extend more then 8" past middle door post. No kickers off any bar to floor frame, etc. Bar may be bolted or welded in. Welds must pass inspection. Plates used to bolt in bar must not exceed 4” x 4” x 3/8". Bar diameters minimum of 2", maximum of 6", with a minimum of ¼ " thickness. Halo bars are legal but can only be mounted to rear seat bar. Halo bars may be bolted to roof only near center of the roof with a maximum of 2 bolts. Only bottom door post seam on middle door pillars may be welded. No other interior seams may be welded. Rear window bar allowed. Plates not to exceed 6" by 6". 9. Bumpers: Any automotive bumper may be used. May be bolted on or welded. All factory brackets may be bolted or welded on. We will allow in place of the front bumper only a piece of rectangular steel with dimensions of 6" tall x 2" deep x 1/4" wall...55" wide maximum. No added gussets will be allowed and you MUST follow these dimensions. No other variations will be allowed! Top skin may be welded to backing (No added steel). Bumpers must be cut to fit derby car. 10. Suspension: 18" height maximum to bottom of bumpers from ground. You may obtain this by bolting or welding suspension or changing springs. Tie rods and upper and lower rear control arms may be reinforced but must remain operational. You may also use 2 chains or cables to hold in rear end in wagons or sedans. No bigger than 3/8" diameter chain, and no more than 1 loop from rear end to frame humps. Do not reinforce frame in gaining height or you will not run! 11. Body Bolts (Mini Trucks Only): Must have at least 4, 1/2" bolts in addition to the factory bolts holding the box to the frame. 12. Rear Windows: All regular cab trucks MUST have some kind of support behind driver's head to prevent your head from going out the back window. 13. Engine and Transmission: 4 or 6 cylinder only. Vertical engine stacks are permitted, but keep below 18" above hood. Engines may be secured with chain by bolting or welding to frame. Do not use chain to reinforce in any way the structure of the vehicle or you will not be allowed to run. Transmission cross members and mounts may be welded in. No V-8's in the Mini Van class... 14. Kickers: If running rear seat bar you may run kickers down vertically to sub frame.
Rules for Trucks:
1. Bumpers: Bumper and all bumper brackets may be welded (1 pass only). 2 chains or wires MUST go to or around the bumper and be bolted or welded to the frame. Only 1 wrap per chain may be used. We will allow in place of the front bumper only a piece of rectangular steel with dimensions of 6" tall x 2" x deep x 3/8" wall...68" wide maximum. No added gussets will be allowed and you MUST follow these dimensions. No other variations will be allowed! Top skin may be welded to backing (No added steel). Car or light truck bumpers and car brackets may be used. 2. Suspension: 25" height maximum to bottom of bumper from ground. 20" minimum height. You may obtain this by bolting or welding suspension or changing springs. Tie rods and upper and lower rear control arms may be reinforced but must remain operational. No bigger than 3/8" diameter chain, and no more than 1 loop from rear end to frame humps. Do not reinforce frame in gaining height or you will not run! 3. Body Bolts (Full Size Trucks only): Must have at least 4 bolts in addition to the factory bolts up to ¾” in size and a minimum of a 4” washer holding the box to the frame. You may attach box to the cab of the truck. 4. Rear Windows: All regular cab trucks MUST have some kind of support behind driver's head to prevent your head from going out the back window. 5. Doors: May be welded all the way around door seam. Material used to weld doors not to exceed 2" wide x ¼" thick. 6. Box and tailgate: Must remain in factory position. No wedging. Tailgate vertical seam may be welded from top to bottom. Material used to weld tailgate not to exceed 2" wide x ¼" thick. Boxes may be attached to cab by welding or bolting. Material used to weld box to cab not to exceed 3" wide x ¼" thick. 7. Door Bars: For Trucks Only. You may weld or bolt 4 corner kickers vertically inside cab. Must go to frame.

The "tire" question came up again this year ..... a tire is a metal rim, with a rubber tire on it, and must be air inflated ..... doubled, tripled , unlimited ply, etc are OK .... just no solid tires, or foam / liquid filled tires. rims with welded in centers and reinforcing / valve stem protectors are OK.
