Depends on your tire rule. Do you have a tire rule?

Stock axles? Pinion brake? Braced or axle savers? I my self would be nervous rubbing skidsteers or anything with alot of grip with low gears and bead locks on stock axles. Twisting and breaking axles. But luck is alot of derbying

I love 23 skiddys. But there is always a risk with stock axles but its worth it to me. Not having 500 horses helps too.

I'd run 23" skids with your rear and small centers. Imo 25" skids are pushing the limits and 27" are a forsure no go with stock axles. Or some nice bias ply mud tires. Short skinny ones.

21 inch titans drive line brake. Drops your gears to lower. An they come in 12inch rims which most cars can't hit in stock class

On the subject of tires, debating on what should be used on a more stock build. no axle savers. Last year ran 25's on a stock 8.8 rear and of course bumper got a hold of the top and folded right over. This year going to run a 10 bolt BIA but still leary of running skids. do have a set of 27" 15s but is that still going to be to much for a stock rear? Should a guy look for some DOT 10ply diggers? Thanks for any help.
