Looks very oddly shaped, im assuming making it harder to mount in a car. That being said, I like to keep my money on things like gas tanks in the sport. 65$ your not far off from some vendors gas tanks. Just my opinion.

My main concern would be size. Very long and wide but only a few inches tall. It would take up some space in the back seat. Only other concern is the thickness of metal. This metal like these and boat tanks don't belong in derby cars imo.

If your going to spend $61 on ebay for that, you will be much better off spending slightly more and buying a derby made tank like the M&M boys tanks, etc.

It's only 7" longer than my DEC 10 gallon tank, but the same width, but I like the 5" thick aspect. Your going to need a frame to mount it to the floor pan or it can just drop in your gas tank protector. Only foreseeable issue would be a venue that does not allow a TP, but in your case it would be a fuel tank mount. I've never seen anyone run a tank designed like that, but that doesn't mean it won't work. Nothing like being the first to give it a try, so if it feels right go ahead and buy it. Then check back in with a first time buyer review.

Anyone ever try a motorcycle tank? I'm just curious when it comes to weird stuff people have done.

I think a boat tank would be a better choice than that.

^^ Yes, I remember seeing a picture on here. Maybe in the DIY section... Almost positive it was on the New Yorker build threadthat was in the Mopar section. It was a white Superman car I believe. Edit: Found it, here ya go, about 3/4 the way down the page. we-crash.proboards.com/thread/14408/newport-new-yorker-build
