im running the 74 it will have a 74 monte bumper on the front I bolted my 2x2 cross member in . So your transmission crossmember is not directly underneath your ears/legs coming off your frame? Its hard to tell from the picture. Do you have any other pictures?

If you rules don't allow you to build a Caddy, then you shouldn't build a Caddy. JMO

JMO well i`m sorry but id have drive over 1000 miles to find a show around me .that would allow me to build the way you think it has to be built !I do the best I can with the rules I have to deal with . this show is #7500. to win. I think the caddy was my best choice
