These can weld no farther than 2” on the frame behind the body mount bolts. MAX 1” bolts. 7. You can add a piece of angle (4”x 4”x ¼” MAX) to the top of the core support but can not be any longer than 32”. No other metal will be permitted on the core support.

They MUST be in FACTORY location. ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER METAL CAN BE USED. You are only permitted a single bead of weld when installing on of these cradles. Do NOT alter the cradle or frame in any manner doing this. **To try and make this rule very easy for anyone who may bring a 2003 or newer with a cradle swap it is going to be this easy. When you cut out steel cradle from your donor car make a good cut and when you install it into your 2003 or newer car put it exactly in the factory location and weld it in with one single bead of weld. A single bead of weld is NOT 1” wide either. That is all that will permitted. If you made a bad cut and need a filler do NOT add that filler just do Not weld there!** NO homemade, bolt in, or aftermarket cradles can be used. Factory OEM cradles ONLY. All factory holes in the frame must remain open and can NOT be welded shut. 11.You may have (4) ¼” x 3” x 3” plates on PRE RAN cars that have frame damage. There MUST be a 1” gap between fix it plates. If a seam has came apart you may re-weld up to 6” of the frame seam but that counts as 1 of the 4 plates. Only 2 of these plates may be in front of A-arms or strut towers. Frame must have obvious visible frame or seam damage for plate or seam weld to be permitted. THIS RULE APPLIES TO PRE RAN CARS ONLY. 12. Any rust repair on frames MUST be limited to the area that is rusted. You MUST only repair with steel that is EXACTLY the same thickness as factory frame.
