Main Reason: Limited Budget.
Fairboard will increase the budget once the car count begins to recover. Seeing how Erie County is 2 weeks before and Huron County is 5 days before this derby, the likelihood of a the good car count is low. Most cars will be used up, and there isn't enough time between shows to make repairs.
Erie pays $4k and Huron pays $2k, which trumps $1,200. The fairboard does want to see this class, but the weld class has been the lowest class for the past couple years. This will be re-evaluated for 2016.

Yeah, it's a shame that this fair that once got over 100 vehicles on 2 different nights of fair week, now struggles to get 10 vehicles on 1 night...
