Well Gentlemen, and Ladies.... It is Derby day in Mansfield, Ohio. Travel safe, pray you ground well, and lets have an exciting evening in Richland County tonight. I've never been the kind of guy to blow smoke, but I want to see it pour tonight in Homage to the WagonMaster. Amen.

Just wanted to again say thank you to the Richland County Fair Board, Brian Mullins & crew, the Hatfield family and anyone else who may have helped behind the scenes. Everyone from our camp had a great time. It was an honor to be a part of the legacy Dale built at Richland County over the many years.
Congratulations to Brian McKeever on your trophy, you are a true sportsman........oh and Cliff HITtman...you earned that mad dog.

It was great feeling to be appreciated for what I do. I couldn't have asked for a better day than Saturday. Thank you to the Hatfield crew for the honor and I will do my best to uphold it. Enjoyed speaking with you, Mr. Hicks. Would like to run with you somewhere again, you're one of the guys that help make this sport great. As for the "Boys from Illinois" ... they are some of the nicest guys you will meet. Went above and beyond to help us get loaded up after my tie-rod broke. I hope to be there at Delaware to watch the "triple threat" in action.
Great day for all of us. Thank you, again.
Cliff,
You are the reason I couldn't get out of bed Sunday morning. You deserved that trophy, man. As did Mr. Grandstaff...driving the wheels off that turd Nissan.

Team Underbuilt had a blast... some how managed to pull off a 3rd place finish even after grandstaff had me flying around in my car like a rag doll most of the heat!! congrats to all the winners, and thank you to Mr. Brian McKeever for being the great guy he is and supplying everyone with 5X Hatfield decals. I must admit, i was being a little " whine-a$$" in inspection... and originally loaded my car on the trailer... but then i decided to go cut my car and run this show for Dale, and im glad i did! Id like to apologize to Bryan Mullins, Earl Kidwell, Rodney Traxler, Willard Flack, Jeff Barker, and the rest of the crew for my doings, and id also like to thank each and every one of you for putting up with it, and in the end allowing us to be a part of Richland this year!!!

I want to thank everyone who help put this show on. It was a great turn out and I had a lot of fun . I came there to trash my car and I did it in two runs. Also walked away with a win so it was a great night. I hope the rules stay the same for the 80s stock class and I would also love to see this show try to run full size trucks next year to bring in a new crowed and something different.

I had a blast Saturday. I hope the show stays the same for years to come. More and more cars are showing up each year.

A big thank you from the Richland County Fair Board to all the drivers, inspectors and all others involved. As always you have put on a hit fest and had the crowd on their feet. I think we loaded more cars with the loader at the end of the night than ever before. We had to load majority of the youth cars as well! Believe me, these kids are mean, my son destroyed his Lumina and the other kids destroyed theirs the same. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for an awesome show. I'm going to push on raising the purse for next year, you guys earned it by all means. Thanks to the individuals who participated in the flyers we handed out in the grandstands and those who brought their cars in early to put out front for the spectators to see. Spectator participation was a little less than I expected but over all not bad for the 1st attempt. A big Thank You to the Hayes family from Illinois for coming out and for also helping me set up the fencing for the cars and power wheels. Another Thanks to Tim Oney and his crew for helping me get the flyer filled with drivers. Next year were looking at 2-3 cars and a hand full of various parts. Maybe double tires, broken axles, transmission with a homemade shifter, etc. More seating in the pits will be added and possibly a few food venders. The flyer will continue pending the cost of printing. The tribute for Dale was heart wrenching, and as we all know it wasn't the same without him. I only hope he appreciated the show you put on. A mid size car will be built for a raffle car next year. This was at numerous request from fans in the grandstands! I found one today and bought it so it will be heading to the garage in a couple weeks. Maybe in the near future I'd like to see a raffle car for each heat...? Were also looking at (possibly???) building a larger arena. We used all the barriers we have so as for now that's all the larger we can build it. We have already looked into finding more barriers for next year. Please, any suggestions please let it be known. Thanks Again John Gray #818 Richland County Fair Board

Thank you, Mr. Gray for allowing Sean and I to bring our cars up before the show. I enjoyed talking to the few spectators that asked me about my car. If you're allotted more than an hour to show off the cars, I believe it will turn out much better.
