What are the pros/cons of these? Looking into buying one but would like to know more about it before I invest $280 in it

I ran them for years on Chrysler motors I recommend to use the off road version I ran stock 360 Chryslers with good vp red racing fuel and they ran great no issues

IMO the guys buying them are the ones who don't have enough sense to take their foot off the gas when they're motor is screaming and begging for it.
As long as you're not tone deaf I don't think you need one.

I always ran the 6a model with out any issues it had no rev limiter but like I said the off road one would be better now a days ways are built plus they are more water proof than others and internal mounted in silicone for absorb shock if I remember right

I don't run them for the limiter factor of it. If you have a stock engine, spend your money elsewhere.

Had a friend that used to run one and loved it. It definitely woke his motors up. I was pretty impressed with it. As long as u don't mind the extra wires I think it's probably worth the money. Jmo.

Does the MSD ignition box help with starts when your engine is hot? If you have a happy knob to adjust timing in the fly But it's one more thing to go wrong Sent from my SCH-I545 using proboards

Anyone ever have issues running one of the non off road 6AL boxes as far as vibrations or impact ruining the internals?
