THERE ARE 350 HEADS THAT ARE JUNK/ CRACK PRONE ALSO.... IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR BUDGET IS, AND WHAT YOUR REALISTIC EXPECTATION OF THE END RESULT WILL BE..........

Approximately 45 cubic inches of displacement..... I hope this answers your question, or else you are looking for a more specific answer than what your question provides....

Ok I have a question I got a 305 I'm build but I want to know what I'd the difference between a 305 to a 350 both stock bore the difference is nobody builds 305's I must be nobody (frankly I'm good with that), because I build 305's. Won some pretty big money. Even had one a couple of years back win the Icon Instigator at Metal Mayhem, in the Mayhem class. Have two in the shop almost ready to ship. One sold, one isn't. If you know what you are doing, they are a great engine, and in some respects, better than the 350. But as the trend goes right now with people hyping up 6000 horsepower engines that blow up, it is hard to educate anyone on what wins a derby.

Let's see if you can understand:
1) He asked a question about the difference, 2) you made a statement that was incorrect (which is normal from you), 3) I corrected you.
Without your incorrect statement, I would not have posted. The simple fix is for you to not post incorrect information. Get it?

305 are good little engines, biggest difference is obviously the bore size. Most parts will mix, with the exception of 2.02 1.60 valved heads. Aslong as understand rpm to horsepower and torque theories a 305 would be just fine. The other thing about 350s is the availability of stroker builds and piston/ring selection.

If you're in a marathon show, like Mayhem's of past, etc. a 305 might be better suited for something like that. Fuel consumption would be much lower if properly tuned and nobody ever opens it up enough to need all the power from a 350 anyways.
We ran 305s for years. Took the heat well, ran better when hotter than he!! and easy on transmissions (another plus for marathon derbies).

What the hell is a marathon? I thought it was a "demolition" derby. Meaning stuff is suppose to get "demolished" IDK?

I gave one example of Mayhem, 3 hour features. Hour n a half heats.
Another is B4C, hour features 45 min heats
SE, hour or more features.
Cmon Stromi, you know cars don't bend and if they did, a whole lot of shady vendors would be out of business when they can't peddle their shit that doesn't fit.

Ok I have a question I got a 305 I'm build but I want to know what I'd the difference between a 305 to a 350 both stock bore I wouldn't pick a 305 in a show where you wont be running aftermarket gears in the rear end. I have ran both. In a situation where you need to lug around a car with 3 wheels, the 305 I ran came up a bit lacking. A general trend I have seen is that stock 305s tend to run better when hot, when compared to a stock 350.

A general trend I have seen is that stock 305s tend to run better when hot, when compared to a stock 350. My stock 350 never stalled after losing a radiator or water until the last run. It ended up both blown head gaskets and both heads cracked. My stock 305 was gutless from the flag drop. Never steamed, never lost any water, got so hot it seized/blew head gasket and/or cracked the swirl port heads on it I'm sure. Second run on it. First run was on alky and it never got hot but was still gutless.
