Compact rules state 106" or less only. How can a Taurus wagon that is 108.5 be legal?

13. STOCK CLASS: Body bolts must be factory with the four in the trunk area can be mounted solid with no spacer. The core support may be bolted with an after market bolt or all thread and a spacer not to exceed 4 inches in height (no bigger then 2 inch square tubing)

STOCK CLASS CARS:
On a pre-ran car you do not get to weld two more plates on a car without there being damage done to the frame area! This is intended to let you get another run out of a car not to prevent it from future damage...

Because it is not a mid size car... jdf Its not a compact that's for sure. Why have a rule (wheelbase) and not go by it? Can I bring a 108" Lumina?

So since all the stock cars made it to the track at Frankfort, they're all considered pre-rans, right?

I want to thank everyone who showed up at Tippecanoe County 4H Fair Demolition Derby especially the drivers and fans... without you it would not be possible to set the standard for this sport! I want to also thank everyone that helped put on the derby including all the sponsors, family members, friends, ect.
This has been a rough year for derby's with the weather and I am glad the rain held off so we could run all the classes.
I want to also congratulate the winners and any small part that I have been a part of their first win. I know we have had a lot of them over the years and we added two more Saturday night!
The Tippecanoe County 4H Fair thanks you for showing up and supporting the demolition derby we hope to see you next year...
