8 different states representing this derby so far.
Their is no fair, this is a stand along event. However the Jefferson County Fair authority is working to create a festival to help give spectators more options for food and recreation.

2015 Compact Rules
Types of cars 1. All Front Wheel Drive cars of any Wheel Base(Except 1985 and older Eldorado, Toronado, and Riviera or any FWD full frame vehicle.) 2. Rear Wheel Drive cars under 106" Wheel Base are Permitted(Measured by Factory Wheelbase)
Rule questions and clarification contact: Steven Sickles 724-557-3107
So a 97 Cadillac DeVille with 4.6 L v-8 is within the rules?

So a 97 Cadillac DeVille with 4.6 L v-8 is within the rules? Wheelbase wise it would, but v8's are not allowed. See Rule #1 under Drive Line Drive Line 1. Any motor(6 cylinder and smaller, NO v8's), transmission, or rear end of choice.

Got it now......Didn't see it buried down there in the rules......but it makes sense, v-8 should not be permitted to run in a compact class....btw, I don't have a Caddy........just wanted to make sure if I ran compacts there again, I wasn't going to be running against 8 cylinder cars. I drove there when David Day was inspecting.....these compact rules are very different from then.
