Keystone Nationals www.blmotorsports.netDane (Anarchy) Clark Dane Clark Looks Ahead To The 2015 Keystone Nationals. Stoneboro, PA (November 18, 2014): As a second generation driver, Dane Clark is no stranger to the sport of Demolition Derby. Dane finds himself immersed in a string of feature appearances at all of Pennsylvania’s ultimate crown events. This comes as no surprise, his entire life has been dedicated to his chosen hobby. Over ten years of building and driving experience has led him recently though a college degree in Mechanical Engineering. “Derby it’s a crazy sport, not only do you need to be the builder, the pit crew, the designer, the engineer, but you also have to drive it too. Every day I think about derby, how to build the car different, and what’s going to be the next big thing.” Says Dane. The 2015 Keystone Nationals looks like a promising venture for the Stoneboro native. A show where most drivers dream of one day competing in its famed “Money Round” Dane has qualified in every appearance. His highest finish was second only to the two time and defending champion Pete Hanson, who has swept the last two national events. Clark has proven a trip to victory lane is more than overdue. His past runs have all been dedicated to research and development. “Over the past 3 years it has been all about trial and error and getting into the grove, I have broken so many parts I couldn’t pretend to list them, 40 spline axles, braced M9 housings, Spindles, Sliders, and steering parts.” Dane explained. Although his builds are complex he is also described as an “open book” and welcomes visitors in his pit. Dane’s 2015 season looks to be a busy one as he plans to run as many BLM shows as possible. His excitement for the Smith, Brazel, and Clark entries shows his determination. He shows his comfort running the Keystone Nationals by explaining,” I would run no matter where in PA it was, here are the reasons. 1. Inspection: Top notch builders inspect this show, they are from different areas as well. This means I know when I take the track that there is no car that is built above and beyond the rules to the point I can’t compete. 2. Rules: These rules are for the builders, they don’t tell you how to build a car, they tell you to build a car within these rules. 3. No Bagfest: I have ran derbies that you have to bag a little if you want to be in the top 10, not at the nationals. Every nationals champion and top 5 guys have driven their asses off; the derby is too fast to bag.” Danes is most notable for his new style Ford builds, however it is possible to see the iconic Anarchy symbol painted on a different model this year. Dane would like to thank the Most Wanted Fine Art Studio out of Pittsburgh who has been a solid advertising partner. He has also given credit to Elmer Smith, Casey Smith, Randy Brazel, Chris Firster, Toby Highly, and many others who have helped him in the past. As the 2015 season approaches Dane Clark will be sure to impress. His Attention to detail and easygoing attitude has placed him among the elites of this sport. As all roads lead to a successful season this could be the year of his entry into the list of Keystone National Champion.

Both Shows listed above (metal Mayhem and Bash 4 Cash) are top tier shows. Along with the Keystone Nationals you will find a collection of the worlds best drivers. Im not sure any of these three shows can be compared. They all have their attributes! Seating for this year will not be an issue. The grandstands are huge but you may want to come early to get your preferred section.
Compacts are a one shot deal.

Bo, if we run a stock car at this show do we still need to pick a preferred inspection time? And stock rules the same as your super stock show?

Due to the high volume of cars attending this years Keystone Nationals all classes must fill out their inspection times. Times will be staggered to insure each driver gets ample time to be properly inspected. The 6PM inspection line shut off will be strictly enforced.

1st time running this show, what do you all mean about preferred inspection time? Do we get to pick when we get inspected?

How does this show compare to bash 4 cash and metal mayhem. Like to try different places My personal opinion the driver's in the Feature last year put on the best show I saw all year collectively. On the gas and just destroying each other... I went to Bash for Cash(Great overall show and atmosphere, but not as much throttle in the big money divisions, still won't miss this one either) and I went to Blizzard Bash(Again great show and atmosphere black/tan's heat was the best heat I seen all year, their features people were on the pedal but the way they set up their bracket for the teams was a little bit of a let down for me, again I will be back it was a great overall show) So it's hard to compare, but they all three +mayhem deserve to be up there with the best shows of the country!!!
