Yup, I'll start it. Got 4 for 2015 so far. I might get 1 more, but that would be it. Might be able to run my BB car after if it isn't junk. First car for '15. Gunna be run in an indoor figure 8 and then demoed the next night in Lebanon, MO in January. Gunna be the baddest compact figure 8 car in the area. This was supposed to be my hometown show's car, but didn't get done. It's much father than this picture, it's about 90-95% done. It will be my hometown show's car in '15. My GF Dana's car for our local show. Needs a M/T swap. So what does everyone else have up their sleeve for the new year?

Probably not where i should be posting this and i apologize but i have to ask. What is it like for you guys out west to find cars? Here in VT cars are getting harder and harder to find. And when you do find one they want $500 for it and even then its probably all rotted out. It wouldn't be so bad if you could get a few derbies out of a car but our derbies are stock only cars no welding, no bumper change, has to be factory motor and trans, etc. So 90% of cars are one and done, then scrap!

I cant speak for everyone but here in madison people think shitboxes are worth a grand. Saw an early 90s escort that needed brake work, tires, and burned oil with over 200k and they wanted 900. Back home in illinois it can still be high but reasonable. I cant find a car for 300 though Anyway. Mini cars I have a honda accord but im looking for three more minis. Got two full size one being built for brother and one im debating on running. All 100% clean for once

Being near St. Louis helps. Lots of cars for cheap, and we don't get a WHOLE lot of snow here so stuff is usually pretty clean. I paid about $100 than I normally do, but I just bought a clean escort gt that needs a clutch for $500...I usually pick up fairly clean W bodies that run/drive but need intake/head gaskets for between $400 and $500...I've never paid more than $500 for a demo car...

I have never paid more then $300 for a car at that price I can scrap it out for that. Helps living close to Minneapolis welfare checks only go so far by the end of the month when they need the cash you can get cars pretty cheap.

Of course, everything this early is always theoretical. So, in theory, these should get me through the year: 84 Bird 82 Z28 94 Regal 87 Celebrity 68 Executive for full size 81 Datsun for mini trucks And of course, also in theory, these should get the boy through the year. 83 RX7 76 Celica 92 Dynasty 65 New Yorker for full size 84 S10 for mini trucks 76 Gremlin

^^^If I had the cash I would consider that. I have a project to get started on for next year. I may wait till memorial day to disclose it though, depends where I run it.
