I asked 3 months ago about wiring the trunk on a joker class ride before tech and didn't get an answer Tim? Russ? Sorry for missing that you can wire your deck lid down but there must be inspection holes to see in if this is done beforehand.

14. Tie Rods MAY BE REINFORCED No gas tank protectors. This means no aftermarket? ive already sent stuff out to guys... I fixed my post tie rods are allowed to be reinforced. Sorry for any confusion. So this wasnt really clear. Are we allowed Joker Tie rods for the Joker class or welded factory?

Can someone help me? I've been going off the Street Stock rules posted on this site. Other drivers are using the ones on the Smash It page. There are a few big differences. Specifically - relocating the battery, welding gears, and welding front bumper. Which is the correct rules?

Specifically - relocating the battery, welding gears, and welding front bumper. Which is the correct rules? You can relocate the battery by extending the cables only. you can weld spider gears if you like and you can use and you may use 4 1" welds to secure bumper to shock plate. Use the rules found at www.smashitderby.comI will fix them on here tonight sorry for any confusion

All I heard is that all the big money cars have to park in the infield, and only them two classes. The reason I'm even paying attention to that statement is, is the infield big enought for 160 + trucks and trailers? And what if a crew has a tool truck that not pulling a car, can they get in? I'll let you confirm or squash the rumor before I ask any more question. Thsnks Russ.

Some what true. We are going to open the infield on Friday we want the derbyparts.com and the derbytees.com class cars in the infield as much as we can. The reasoning is you guys run on both days and communication will be easier. As always nothing other than trucks and trailers and tool trucks will be permitted to park in infield ( a jack and a tire does not make it a tool truck )This year we can use the horse track for parking if needed. We might not be able to get all of you in the infield but the more we can will make it easier on all of us.

For 80's wire class I'm assuming tie rod rule is the same and we can run after market? And how far does dash bar need to be from fire wall?
