got the lumina runnin off a carb over thanksgiving weekend...any tips would be appreciated Replace plugs, get rid of all that extra crap under the hood, that you don't need now. Mainly just make sure it runs great. They almost never run better on derby day. Also make sure all them vacuum ports(or lines) are plugged off if not being used

Hey guys i have an issue with a car id like to demo. The car is a 03 buick century with the 3.1 engine. I had some mice chew threw some wires by the tranny and now the starter wont kick on and turn the car over. If i bypassed the nuetral saftey switch could i could the starter to turn over? Or should i try repairing the wires first? The only issue i run into is that 4 of the wires are the same color no strip on them or anything. Thanks for any and all help

Sorry guys cant do pics i really dont like this site when it comes to pictures but i love it for all the helpful info. So the wires im speaking of you have a connector right at the tranny and another right next to the air box. These 2 meet right by the tranny and this is where the mice damage is. Its just stupid that GM used like 6 wires that were the same color in the bundle of wires that got chewed seeing as there are only 12 wires there. They could have used different colors and some stripes at least. Im guna try pulling a harness from another car today and see if that fixes my problem by swaping the harness. But first i might just try putting all the same collor wires together twisted up and see what i get but i think if i can get the harness out of another car that will be the best
