I'm new to derbying. Running a 89 Corsica Hatchback in a stock class. We can run "like era" bumpers. I have a few Chevy truck bumpers laying around. Any ideas how these will hold up?

So I have a 79 Thunderbird front bumper, in took the horns off so I can utilize the point more and have seam welded the shit out of the bumper.. but I was messing around and just set the horns in the center of the point.. now I'm considering welding them on the center of the bumper.. opinions??

Seem welded, the 75 LTD bumper is a pretty good bumper. Also lends itself to loading very easily. Not in any order: 74-76 Impala/Caprice 74-78 Flat Newport/NewYorker with/without vent holes 74-78 Pointy New Yorker/ Imperial with/without vent holes 74-76 Pontiac bumpers if seem welded and mounted correct 74-76 Olds Front bumper 74-79 LTD/Marquis front bumper 74-76 Monte bumpers 80's Ford and Lincoln front bumpers, steel backed 70's Cordoba bumper I'm sure there are more but this is a start of the more desireable bumpers out there. . 80's fords and Lincoln's? How about an 87 grand marquis

Is it steel backed? Most 80s and newer bumpers go on the back of cars anymore.

If it is steel backed and welded the 87 marquise bumper will be fine.
