I have sent emails, numerous phone calls with voice mails and private messages and you will NOT get back to me. I’m seriously wondering if my money is no good to you Here’s the private message. I’m still waiting on the carb. I’ve gotten you all the info you need and ready to send money Nick

Guess it has been a while since I was on here.
Had to log back in.
Mr. Johnson, I told you my cores are slated for my current engine orders. The cores I received weren't enough to give me an additional ones. There are several guys who have copied my products that might be able to help you until I can get you the real thing. They are kind of crappy copies, but fast is what matters now, right?

Fast would be great, but that’s not what I expect. I expect a carb when you tell me you will have one sent, or atleast some form of communication. When you don’t anwser me for 5 months I gave up on you even responding. Really what would you do if you needed a product from some one and they ignored every form of contact from you for 5 months? If you want to send me a carb send me carb. I need one in 1 week. Can you do it? If not who do you recommend

Just so I’m following.... you have never cut the check for this carb you’ve been wanting for nearly six months.... correct? You’re just stating that you want one, and would like to spend your money with GAS?

For those who were surprised i was not at spring explosion, I am sorry for not posting about it sooner. I didn't realize until a few days before that I was listed as a vendor. It was my first time missing spring x in 12 years. My daughter had a dance recital and I just couldn't justify missing it given all of the crap that goes on as a vendor at a show like that. Hopefully you all avoided the crooks selling tires for more than if I went there. That is to say, there are some vendors who go to big shows and rip you off with high prices, but if I show up they come over like sewer rats and sneak around my booth and then go back and mark down prices. Next show, you bet, ripping you off. And people still buy from them. I don't get it.
The other reason to stay home is that there is no real point in displaying any items I design anymore, as they get copied by people with no skill. For example, I designed a custom fuel system several years ago with twin holley fuel pump and a splitter system. You can't just throw that together and put it on anything, there are adjustments and serious design and testing things that need to be addressed. Used nothing but the best parts. After several customers have won with it some other douche is yet again saying he is producing it. Seems copied fuel systems and copied engines go together. So sad what the sport has become. And the scumbags in it.
Beware the copy cats. They have no idea what they are building, just what it appears to be.
Planning on being at Mayhem. Haven't missed one since Jerseyville, IL in 2002 or 2003.

When I was still making parts I'd send everyone your way for tires. Especially after another "tire" vendor ordered over 5 grand worth of product from me, then just never came to get it. Then after I lugged it all to the show myself to try to recoup some of my money back, he pulls in and just stares and never says a word. Piece of garbage.. I also agree on people attempting to copy your stuff poorly. Before I started narrowing rims 6 years ago 99% of people never saw a 5.50 tire or a 5" wide SS rim. Now there are shitty wheel vendors everywhere.. Let alone some of my other stuff.. The one spring ex you missed was great weather all weekend. Go figure.

I told Tory a couple of days before that I looked at weather and figured it was me, not Derby Icons, that brought bad weather. Without me, good weather.
Funny story about tire vendors, there was one who was trying to bribe a promoter with a larger vendor fee to keep other people from selling tires so he could name his price and rip off derby people. Sad.

Questions that are being asked, so here are my answers:
Yes, headed to Mayhem.
Yes, buying 2G carbs. Unlike some hacks who have copied my carbs and think that the one they copied is the only part number to use, I will look at all of the 2G carbs you bring and pay you for their value. Some are worth $5, some are worth $50, most are in the middle.
Do not need 2G intakes at this time.
No engines available for sale at the show, have some at the shop that can be completed soon, stop by and ask if you are serious.
Free shipping with any engine order placed at Metal Mayhem with 50% down.
Carb and HEI combos - won't be available at show, but if you order I will ship for free, depending on if I can fit your time frame.
Tires: Here is what is on the truck
GR13/14/15 tubes - $80/case or $150 for two cases.
14 ply 7.00-15 Forklift, $125 23x8.5-14 Carlisle - $105 25x8.5-14 Carlisle - $105, also have 4 BKT in this size for $90 each. Doubled 25x8.5-14 Carlisle - $125 27x8.5-15 Xtra Wall skid steer (as thick as a samson used to be) $90 27x8.5-15 Carlisle Skid $80 Doubled 27x8.5-15 Carlisle Skid, $105
Trying to clean out my trailer on other stuff, radiator caps, steering wheels for $35, etc. Stop by and see what we have. I will be putting flooring in my trailer after this show so the less I have to move the better.
Don't bother calling, asking questions, etc., after I post this, I'll be getting on the road soon.
Scott

Headed to Blizzard Bash, not vending, just picking up and dropping off engines. Look for my big hauler and stacker trailer to come find and pick up. Don't always have the phone on me at the show.
Can deliver and drop off whatever you need if taken care of in advance.
I will ONLY be there from Thursday mid-afternoon until Saturday noon. All transactions must be done by then. All items must have a deposit on them before I bring them, and if you don't show up to finalize payment and pickup that item, it goes home with me at noon on Saturday so I can attend a wedding.
Happy to sit in the trailer and chat with folks about product. As always, free shipping on any engine ordered down there with 50% down. Check, cash, card or paypal accepted.
At this point in time, it is too late to order an specific engine for delivery down there. I do have two, maybe three engines that can be completed before Topeka and brought there.
Here is what they are:
1. GAS Stage 2 full roller. Low mileage short block, fresh heads, 2G carb with custom 2G intake, new HEI, new gaskets, roller cam and lifters, roller rockers, fresh timing chain, oil pump, etc. Assembled, time, tuned, ready to drop in and run. Rarely get these in anymore but here is a nice one. $2895.
2. GAS signature series 355 with aftermarket head upgrade. Full Roller, One run on engine since built. Fresh GAS 2G and HEI, 2G intake, etc. I ran this engine myself to test a new carb modification. Great power, very dependable. $4100 with plug wires, Stewart Stage I water pump, plugs, etc. Add starter, headers, pulleys, and drop it in. $4100. New this is about $5000, so take advantage of it while you can.
3. 305 Sig series EL full roller (this one is a maybe before Topeka), Signature series EL roller, fresh cam and lifters, oil pump, timing, chain, gaskets, new GAS HEI and 2G carb, custom 2G intake, etc. $2750. These engines have won so many derbies and outrun the "big engine" guys for so much less money. Likes 4:56 gear or deeper, basic build old iron or new fords/GM. $2750.
