Dragged home this 79 Fairmont today. 2.3/auto. I've known where it's been sitting for half a decade and finally it popped up on Craigslist. Not that I need any more junk cars laying around, but it was dirt cheap and less then a mile from my house, hard to pass them up when there so close. It didn't run so I just dragged it back with the tractor. No spark, but after rewiring the Duraspark (thanks 2.3 thread) and dumping some gas down it's throat it fired right up.

Picked up a really solid (for WNY standards) Sebring coupe tonight for dirt cheap. Should make a nice enduro then demo car for September. I never paid attention and didn't never realize that the coupe version of the sebring and stratus is a completely different car from their sedan counterparts. It's just a third gen Eclipse instead of the JR platform.

I know most guys only see them as demo cars but up here deep in the rust belt their hard to find in somewhat decent shape. I hoard the mint rust free ones away, but this wagon makes a great winter beater/tow rig. It owes me nothing! Wagons are for driving, compacts for smashing.

Ha, you bought that Topaz that has been for sale for ever? I was actually thinking of buying it, but those damn things rot out so bad. I had to scrap the Tempo I had because it was too rusty even for me which is saying something, every fuel and brake line was shot, no rear floor pans, no trunk, no rear quarters, no rockers, rear trailing arms were attached to nothing... I still have a 84 5sp Topaz with 405k miles on it. Smokes like a chimney but runs great. Kind of a shame, it was a one owner with only 20k on it. Wreck that and save the Acura.

'00 Seville STS that my buddy was going to scrap. Don't ask why I bought it, in hindsight I really don't know. And a super solid '06 Uplander

Buddy dropped off his enduro car that he windowed the block in last race, and we picked up a super rotted '98 LeSabre for a heart transplant.

My buddy bought one that was sitting in a garage since '89. It's surprisingly solid, and he's done nothing at all besides oil undercoat it and runs it as a driver. Still has Sear's Guardians on it with a '88 date code lol. I'll go in the extreme minority and say driver. If not at least save the bumper filler panels, I know he'll buy them.

Super solid freebie Focus from a buddy of mine. 2.0 Zetec/5sp, should make for a quick enduro car.
