75 malibu wagon. Any tips? bolt/chain derby. can not plate humps. stock suspension. stock body mounts. need all tips possible. Remove the tailgate. Double notch. Prebend the roof up with a bumper jack or the like in the middle of the rear side Windows. Beat the rear posts in. Stuff the shocks to get the rear up past level.

To be different I've done a few wagons with out hump plates or leafs. Unless your welding a lot and the trying sedagons won't be much different than sedans

I plan to sedagon this car. should i single or double notch the frame? I gave what I believe is the best to do with a stock rear of that car. Without plates or leafs I wouldn't sedagon it. Not worth the chance it will turn into a plow.

he's already been given the same info 2-3 times in the last 2 pages, if he wants to sedagon it let him. People that ask for tips then pretty much blow off good advice deserve to get their cars junked.

Sorry guys. I dont mean to "blow off" your advice. I appreciate all the help. I did a sedagon with my 77 olds wagon, and it handled it very well with a double notch. It only rolled up a little bit, but was pretty strong. I was told by someone who has also ran this type of car and a 78 olds wagon, to build it about the same way, and it should do good. I also heard that it is a good idea to flip the front bumper on the 75 malibu wagon. Is this true?

If it worked with your 77 olds wagon then why ask advice on a 75 chevy wagon basically the same car. 2. A 78 Olds wagon is a totally different car then 73-77 midsize wagon.

I don't flip them until after I have ran it at least once. They have a tendancy to roll down, but I've also had the smash flat. This is my favorite bumper with stock rules. Very forgiving on the frame.

when you say to ditch the tail gate, would it be better to totaly get rid of it, or cut it and bend it to the bottom of the trunk area and bolt it, or bend it to the side on the inside to make the side stronger? Thanks
