I wanna run my 85 gmc 1/2 ton without a rad, i don't know if thats a good idea or not, but i've been looking at a part that bolts onto the motor and it looks just like a rad cap and i can't remember whats it's called. would it work or is there work that has to be done to put this part on?

Will the doors from a 77 chevy bolt on an 84 chevy. I know they changed fenders and hood hinges sometime in there but not sure on doors.

I'm gonna be running my first truck derby in a few months. Looks like I'll be running an 88 1/2 ton 4X4. The front frame on the 4X4's looks much stronger than the 2wd's. Anybody got any "MUST DO'S" for these trucks. It is just like the one at the beginning of this thread. Long bed, x-cab. Any ideas would help as I said this is my first truck.
Thanks in advance!!

81 Chevy 1 ton truck.... Does it have potential? Can't seem to get it sold, so I might as well wreck it.

^^^ Like a 88^ or a 73-87. The 88^ already have a bad slant to them in the front to begin with, I wouldnt make it worse than it is. If you cut the bottom in front of the a-arms and brought that part up some it may help.
