^^^I haven't run one yet but do agree looking at the frame it looks good. I'll be lucky if I can run mine next year it may be until '14. I do believe that these frames are that fancy hydroformed steel too...

I have a 79 2wd dodge truck that i have started to build, and i was wondering what the best way is to get the front as high as possible , we are not able to change them to a solid axle . Any tips or ideas would be appreciated. NateKing14N

Any tips or ideas would be appreciated. NateKing14N Are you allowed to change the front axle to a 4x4 axle? If so that's probably your best bet. If not, 1 ton coil springs (or the tallest heavy duty ones you can get) with coil spacers, and rags stuffed in the front shocks to make it a little stiffer. Then put on taller front tires and smaller back tires. Finally wrap or bolt a chain to your frame above the axle then around your axle. Get some weight in the bed and suck the chain down as tight as you can get it so it will lower the rear end. This should raise your front end up as much as you will get. After this I'd wedge the bed but I'm not sure you can do that. That's how I'd do it, maybe someone else has a better/another idea.

I have a 1990 Dodge W150 that.l be ran either in 2013 or 2014. What do you guys think about sucking the rear down tight running 14s and a wedged bed and leaving the front as it is? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

getting a 76 Dodge 1/2 tone 2wd... been ran once but only made 2 hits and had wiring issues so its still perfect....... its not built to my standards tho... If I run long mopar shocker shocks down the frame to the a arms, have down bars to sheetmetal from seat and dash bar, will it hold a pointy on the front? also the tailgate is pulled down and welded on and has no back bumper, also how would putting my built 8 3/4 above the leafs like on a car work out? I like the backs of my cars low im thinkin a pickup would be the same way

With good welding and shocks/brackets i "think" it should hold a pointy. Personally I dont like the backs to be real low. I'd put a step bump on the rear. I like them low with some strong springs so the box doesnt end up with a tire/truck in it. I would talk to the promoter and talk them into allowing the down bars go to the frame in 4 spots. (not sheet metal) with stock body bolts it wont take much to rip a cab off, along with a box.

What would a 96 to 98 1500 4 wheel drive dodge be like. Can pick it up really cheap. Any input would be helpful. Thanks
