Sorry I haven't been on this thread for a long time. I don't use a lunati. I have Esslinger top end. I'm still messing with mine but here is the kit I got I think. www.esslingeracing.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=E2270k2282&Category_Code=CCK I think that's the one I got.. Then I bought my pulleys, tensioner and high performance hydrolic lifters separate. I went with dual springs and stayed with hydrolic lifters for reliability reasons. I realize solid lifters are probably more common. I tried going cheap and using head bolts instead of studs and it bit me in the ass so I have mine apart right now. I've got lots and lots of work to do in about a month. Hoping to have it done again for my first car. The stock motor will do if it needs to but I'm wanting to take my engine with my esslinger cam in the head that's gasket matched/polished with the efi intake hogged out with my Holley 350 on top. Looking forward to putting my new pro comp dist. and Mallory ignition box on it. I'm no expert on building these engines or building cars everything I know was just by trial and error, I've never been taught to do anything with engines so I'm sure there will be more errors to come. Honestly though I always win more money with me stock engines .

I bought the kid and had the machine shop but it in the head But as far as the Holley goes it won't be too much. A two barrel Holley or Motocraft is the cheapest easiest way to really wake up a stock 2.3

efi intakes flow awesome. Depending on what head you have they match up good too. hopefully you don't have a 2.0 head the intake ports are tiny on them.

Does anyone know if the flywheel and torque converter for a c 3 and c 4 are the same? I want to go from a c 3 to a c 4, and I'm trying to figure out what all I need. Thanks, Chris

Gonna be tearing into my motor for its rebuild here in another month or so....what do most of you guys run for distributors do you run points, duraspark, or aftermarket? Was going to pick between one of the two stock ones but would like to hear what you guys are using.

Pro billet with mallory ign. Box this year. I like the duraspark box though. Ive ran points, then an ignitor ii set up and the duraspark. I liked the duraspark best out of those. I didnt think the others spark was hot enough to burn all of the fuel. JMO
