Slider is on my to-do list, but thus far, I have not lost a drive shaft in a fox....4 hatch Mustangs, a 4 door Fairmont and a 4 door Granada. The latter 2 were just as boned in the back as jives' 4 door above. quick knock on wood, you probably just jinxed it for this year.

I run a 28spline yoke out of an ltd with a paddle shaft driveshaft out of a mid-late model 90’s ranger. If you move your block (2.3) all the way back so the head is touching the firewall, these work perfect and will slide about 6-10in if one gets in a bind

Yes just fold the fenders over them selves after you shorten the nose.

The flap in front of the wheel at the bottom should reach the body too.

Then I wouldn't be running this style car.

That's not good advise, at a short wheelbase show a foxbody could still be the toughest car on the track without shortening. 108+ shows, yes I agree 100%.

With stock rules here, I was able to get away with shoving some bolts & screws through the front parts of the fenders. Kept them from tearing off.

Then I wouldn't be running this style car. Smash it rules say no shorting and Fox's always seem to do good at there shows
