^^^i did mine about an inch behind crossmember.. 1.)place jack stands behind ur point ur gunna pitch. 2.)i used a torch, cut a pie shape out of the bottom of the frame rail and continued the cut about 3/4 the way up the side of the frame. 3.)push evenly on the front frame frame rails until you reach ur desired height. at this point its all up to you how far you want to go.. i dont have a set number of inches as to how far i pitch.. i just go until my front horns/frame is as level as possible. once ur reach ur desired hieght.. 4.)weld your slice back up with a single fill pass.. grind down smooth and run two more cover pass welds..
hope this helps ya out.

I think Im going to pitch mine at the box area instead of the side rail area. i use to pitch my older fords in the side rails but u have to put super tall spacers under the fire wall i dont like to space it over an inch there so i fell in love with cutting it at the boxxes has anyone else done this on an 03 or newwer car ?

I like the imperial engine cradle being fabricated into the ford frame... It was only a matter of time. ;D Once that idea starts winning features it probably wont take long to be banned. On the 2003 newer ford frames I'm trying to figure out why you would want to tilt it at or behind the crushbox? since that is already pretty level from the factory? Ok enuff said, I'm in the wrong build section anyways...lol

any time ya drop ur ass end low so ur gonna need to level out the front end to compinsate for the offset... thats my way of thinking atleast

The firewall mount area on these frames have so many layers of metal and gussetts that tie into each other there that's it's not worth cutting all that metal to tilt it there, IMO. A single torch slice behind the crossmember and your good to go. The spacers at the firewall shouldn't be as tall as doing it to a older style ford.
Hemi1 the imp sub in these frames has already been done with plenty of feature wins, and yes they are banning them. Lol

a 69er run equals like 5 runs from the normal derby driver.. so that's approximately 25 runs on the 03 and 15 on the 06..
