how about some pics or info on how to mount a set of upper a arms when doing a cradle swap That was top secret on wecrash. No one would let you know anything on cradle swap. I guess it is trial and error. Let me know what you come up with.

It's not hard, just look at how they are mounted on the 80's car then transfer that to the 03 frame. I'll post some pics of my car later today, assend is junk, front's still straight. I didn't know if I believed all the hype on these cars, so I bought one and built it....I will say I am extremely impressed with them! how about some pics or info on how to mount a set of upper a arms when doing a cradle swap

I was referring to a bolt in cradle set up. The weld in is easier but rules say have to bolt in.

Does it specify how you have to bolt it in, or how many places it can be bolted?

you can build a 80s frame just as strong as 03 or newer without all the extra work and get the whole car for what u pay for a bare frame

^^^I have to disagree somewhat with that statement. I have never seen one hold up to what this one went through. I never went nose to nose with anyone, but I did have leafed cars, packed in cars, and other people beat on the front and it never moved. Had a well built leafed wagon hit me hard in the front, and it went up.....didn't even move the core support on my car. Here are the after pics....I shoulda drove forwards some more. Assend was hard though and couldn't get myself to do it. Ran this car 2 and a half times. Back never moved until I got caught off guard and full tracked in the back drivers corner by a 60's Galaxy then it went all crazy. All I had time to do was the dump the clutch before he got me. Car has not moved in the front, the bumper is bending up but that's it....may look like it's going up but the back is bellied out. Non pitched by the way.

Tacked in for now. Will be bolted in when finished with no welds on frame.

^^^^Are you sure it was an 03? Can't really see one bending behind the crush box considering the gianormous gusset and crossmember in them. I have heard of them ripping apart at the boxes though.
