77-79 I leave them in. 80-92 I pull them out. They don't add enough strength to justify leaving them in and ending up in your stacks or something else you dont want.

Brand would be Cadillac so I assume you mean model. 93-96 Fleetwoods are the only good ones.

just drug home a clean 77 Caddy with the 425 4bbl engine. Was wondering if the motor will hold up well in a derby or if it is a boat anchor for the scrap yard. was looking at using it for a chain stock strip and go car but don't want to waste the car if the motor is gonna get hot and puke.

That's what I wanted to hear, figured on a 2 bbl for sure... quadrajunks make for a nice flame show under the floorboards but that's about it! lol

I wouldnt run 110 in a 425. Not only ate you wasting money but your making that enigine run hotter by having a slow burning fuel continuing to burn long afte it's needed. The 425's have some of the weakest compression out there. Off the top of my head I dont even think it's 8:1.

run a 4 door mid . 80's caddy once not sure what it was fleetwood i think. but anyway all them bars in the nose folded up and core support was in the window. radi was sitting on top carb and cut fuel line at the carb.. didn't put on much of a show on the track but made a nice fireworks display
