12th Annual Ne. Demo/Fig8 Party March 2

It is that time of the year again. The 12th Annual Nebraksa Demo/Fig8 party will be held on March 2 in Osceola Ne. (at the fair grounds) and will start around 7 pm. As we get closer to the date i will be posting more info. Thanks Jason Nuttelman.

The Genoa Chamber of Commerce will be giving away at the party one free car entry ($60.00 value) and one free family pass (up to $40.00 value) for the Pawnee Days Demolition Derby to be held on June 29 in Genoa. This may be the year I can actually attend. Always been a calving issue in the past. Hope to make it this year and meet some more good folks in the eastern world.

Jason and I will post more info on the party after this weekend. Jason is busy with Nebraska state wrestling this weekend. We are going to change a few things with the party and raffle.

John and I have been talking about how we wanted to change a few thing for this up coming demo party. We feel that with the growing interest in the hall of fame that we need to focus more on the the guys that are being nominated in. We also are feeling that in these past few years people have lost some interest in the raffle. So with that being said we are going to cut way back on raffle item and focus more on the hall of fame program. We are counting on donations from vendors as our raffle items. Which we feel will not be a problem.

Hope everyone is able to dig out of this latest storm and is able to attend.

1/4" x 8" x 6 foot PLATE = $25 a piece.

Theron and I will be bringing metal plate to sell. This plate will meet the C&S (Big Dogs) driver's door plating requirement. The plates will be around 1/4"x8"x72". Some of it will be thicker (5/16"), some of it will be wider (9" or so). First come, first choice.

I measured the cars I have and found that a 5' piece will cover all sedans and a 6' piece will cover all 2 doors. I will have a detailed list at the party to verify what you might need for your car. Or, you can cut the pieces up and use for hood plates, front bumper brackets, frame washers, etc. Or, weld a couple together and plate the whole door. Plenty of uses for 1/4" steel!

We are selling at the party for $25 CASH a piece, NO CHECKS. I called Rivers Metal Products and Midwest Steel in Lincoln, that same 6' piece is over $60. So, as you can see, you can't get fresh, clean metal any cheaper!!

To insure we bring enough, please PM me to let me know how much you want to buy. If you can't make a party, we can set up a time to meet at my shop in Garland, or Theron's shop in Davey or Ceresco, or the Lincoln Swapmeet on Sunday.
