From what I've read before is people have a hard time keeping the body on the frame

I would be interested in running one if anyone knows of a clean one near Chicago. For a car that used to be on the streets everywhere for such a long time they sure are hard to find now.

Not sure about running one, but I would have to assume their is some kind of collectors group for them. I would try to sell that thing off and make some bucks...
Only think I've ever heard about them is that the body panels all bolt on for ease of changing...
Edit: Do these have an X frame along with the perimeter frame? That X could be rough on a driveshaft...

frames are tougher then an imp but the body is weeker then a yogo. body swap and jack it up high and you will be onto something

Just got the 67 home tonight, Im very surprised with the frame and can see the comparison to a imp. I can also see why the body could peel off easy. Should be a fun project. (when it cools off) Thanks for the advice.

THERES A REASON WHY NOBODY BUYS THESE BY THE TRUCKLOAD. YOU WILL FIND OUT.

the last time I saw one of these run was back in the mid 90's ... and like others said, the body was the issue, when that sucker hit square with the front or rear it seemed to dish out some good hits but the inevitable happend and someone track shotted it and the body just could handle it... now with a liberal set of welding rules, weld pannels together... and today's techniques of body shaping who knows
BUT this is what derby'n is about... getting whatever cars and trying to build them to have fun... good luck and POST PICS, you got a fan here.
